January 2022 Career Conference Results

Our first Career Conference  of 2022 is in the books and we are quickly ramping up for the follow-up interview process!  As of this blog post we already have candidates conducting follow-up interviews just 2 days removed from the Conference!  It was once again a highly successful event and all of us at Cameron-Brooks want to give a very sincere and heartfelt thank you to all of the Candidates and Client Companies who decided to partner with us as they launch new careers and add strong leadership talent to their organizations.

So what were the statistics?

We had 50 candidates, 40 distinct companies, and over 50 different hiring groups as multiple companies had multiple divisions attend.  Six companies were brand new to working with Cameron-Brooks and we had over 35 alumni return to recruit and find top JMO talent for their organizations.

The candidates conducted over 650 interviews with an average of 12.9 interviews per candidate!  The pursuit rate for this Career Conference was 77.7%, nearly identical to the November 2021 Conference (77.8%), which was the highest we have seen in the history of Cameron-Brooks.

“Pursuit rate” is defined as the number of interviews in which the candidates achieved success divided by the total number of their interviews. “Achieving success” in an interview at the Career Conference simply means the companies expressed interest in moving forward with the candidate.

So, we are off to a great start in helping our candidates with their career transition and pivot from successful military leader to successful business leader.  Since the pandemic started, we have seen the follow up process be accelerated even more than before, with the average days from Career Conference to offer acceptance being just 12.2 working days on average!  So, for the next two three weeks, the candidates will be involved in the follow up interview process based on mutual interest from the Conference.
