The August Career Conference Update

The August Career Conference has concluded but we are still busy with the follow-up process with candidates traveling across the country conducting their follow-up interviews.  These are interviews taking place on site with companies at the location where they may be working.  As of this blog post, several candidates have accepted offers while the majority are still in the interview process and we expect to complete the follow-up interview process by the end of next week.   For this blog post, I wanted share a sample of those opportunities from this August Conference to show the breadth and diversity of opportunities, locations, etc. of opportunities the August candidates are interviewing for in the follow-up process:

Army Infantry, BA Criminal Justice:  General Management position with  a FORTUNE 500 company and a leading provider of kidney care in the United States, delivering dialysis services to patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease (ESRD), Dayton, OH.

Navy NFO, BS Technical Systems Management:  Technical Marketing/Applications Engineer for a rapidly growing semiconductor company focused on photovoltaic chips with applications to the aerospace, military, automotive, and consumer electronics industries, San Jose, CA.

Air Force Finance, BS Finance, MBA:  Financial Analyst for the orthapaedic segment of a multi-billion dollar FORTUNE 500 company that provides non-surgical pain management and complete surgical solution treatment options for treating or reconstructing damaged or diseased joints, caring for traumatic skeletal injuries, treating spinal disorders and deformity, and repairing injured soft tissue, Boston, MA.

Marine Corps Air Intelligence, BA Political Science:  Sales Representative for a Global FORTUNE 500 company and global leader in medical technology – alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life for people with chronic conditions around the world, Tuscon, AZ.

Navy Nuclear Submariner, USNA ’10 Political Science, MBA:  Development Engineer role for the world’s largest provider of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration solutions with a legacy of innovation, developing environmentally sound products to meet customers’ needs, Indianapolis, IN.

Army Quartermaster, USMA ’12 Literature:  Business analyst role witha diversified financial services company known for its financial strength, outstanding service, and competitive products to serve members of the military and their families, San Antonio, TX

Marine Logistics, BA Political Science:   Project manager for a multi-billion dollar, global food company focused on a range of products from high-quality soups and simple meals to snacks and healthy beverages, Philadelphia, PA area.

Army Transportation, BA Political Science:  Manufacturing Supervisor for a Global FORTUNE 500 company and one of the largest building materials companies in the world, Los Angeles, CA.

Marine Field Artillery, BS Mechanical Engineering:  R&D engineer for one of the world’s leading medical technology companies offering a diverse array of innovative products and services in Orthopaedics, Medical and Surgical, and Neurotechnology and Spine, Kalamazoo, MI.
