Former US Army Captain Javy Rodriguez’s (USMA ‘16) advice for JMOs who want a leadership role in the business world is to be open to starting your career in any industry.

Passionate about leadership, Javy partnered with Cameron-Brooks when he was preparing to exit the military. Through that training, he learned how to be a leader in any industry and had numerous interviews across industries at the Career Conference. Learning from his experience, Javy advises JMOs to treat all their interviews equally because you might discover something exciting about a job you didn’t expect to be interested in.
