The April 2016 Career Conference Results

After a very busy but productive four days, the candidates, recruiters, and Cameron-Brooks team have returned home safely from Charlotte.  We are now well underway with the follow-up process and even as I type this post, we have candidates traveling across the country to conduct interviews on-site with our client companies.  For this April Career Conference  54 candidates , 15 spouses/support team members, and over 35 companies were in attendance. Additionally, 30 Cameron-Brooks alumni attended the Conference returning to hire on behalf of their companies, one of which we just recently placed with his company just four short months ago!

The candidates averaged 12.9 interviews and nearly 700 interviews were conducted at the Conference on Monday and Tuesday! As a group, the pursuit rate was over 64%, with the pursuit rate defined as the number of interviews in which the candidates achieved success divided by the total number of their interviews.   Achieving success in an interview at the Career Conference simply means the companies expressed interest in moving forward in the interview process with the candidate.  So, for this Conference, the April Candidates converted, on average, 8.3 of those 12.9 interviews into a successful interview.  Congratulations to the April Conference candidates on taking their first steps towards a new and exciting career in Corporate America!
