Your privacy is important to Cameron-Brooks, Inc., and we are committed to protecting your personal information.  This Privacy Policy explains how Cameron-Brooks, Inc. (“CB”) collects, uses, discloses, transfers, and stores your personal information.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

“Personal Information” is data that can be used to contact or identify an individual person.

CB collects Personal Information which is provided by individuals who are visitors to the Site (as defined in the Terms of Use).  The types of Personal Information that CB may collect include, but are not limited to, your name and contact information (email, address and phone number), any of your job search criteria and preferences, your employment experience, educational history, your skills, reference information, background information, other information contained in your resume, or any login ID or email address and password created by you.  You may choose to provide Personal Information in the following examples:

By providing your mobile phone number to us, you opt in and consent to receive text messages from us, which includes but is not limited to text messages sent through an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any services from us. If you do not wish to receive marketing text messages, do not provide us with your mobile phone number.

We use Personal Information to register you with CB and the Site, to evaluate you with regard to the services that CB provides, to provide you with information regarding employment opportunities and career-related information, and to otherwise provide you with requested information or services. We may also use your Personal Information to verify identity, assist with identification of users, and to determine appropriate services. We may from time to time use your Personal Information to send you automated email messages, text messages (message and data rates may apply), or materials regarding our services, including employment information. Source of your Personal Information when it is not collected from you

We may have received your personal information from other persons if that person has referred you to CB as a possible candidate for CB’s services.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

We also collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose.  If we do combine non-personal information with Personal Information the combined information will be treated as Personal Information for as long as it remains combined.

Cookies and Other Technologies

CB’s Site and emails may use “cookies” and other technologies including but not limited to, pixel tags and web beacons.  We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non‑personal information. However, to the extent that Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local law, we also treat these identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, we treat the combined information as personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, most browsers allow you to automatically decline cookies, or be given the choice of declining or accepting a particular cookie (or cookies) from a particular site. If, however, you do not accept cookies, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of the Site.

From time to time, CB may make certain Personal Information available to strategic partners that work with CB to provide products and services, or that help CB market to customers.  Additionally, CB may share Personal Information with companies who provide services to CB, including but not limited to, information processing, delivering products or information to you, and conducting customer research.

This Privacy Policy does not address, and CB is not responsible for, the privacy, information or other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any site or service to which the Site links.  You are encouraged to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.

Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Retention of Personal Information

We will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. When assessing these periods, we carefully examine our need to collect Personal Information at all and if we establish a relevant need we only retain it for the shortest possible period to realize the purpose of collection unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

Children

CB understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially online. The Site covered by this Privacy Statement is not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13 years. It is CB’s policy never to knowingly collect or maintain personal information about children under the age of 13.
